Pricebird gives you an AI-estimated price range based on the photo, plus a one-tap link to eBay's own sold-listings search so you can verify against the real thing. We don't scrape or claim to have precise sold-comp data cached in the app — the AI estimate is a fast starting point, and the link-out is how you confirm it.
What happens after my 5 free scans run out?
Your inventory, cost-basis tracking, and profit dashboard all keep working — those are never paywalled, even if you never upgrade. Only new AI scans (identification + price estimate) are limited to 5/month on the free tier.
Will Pricebird lose my inventory after an app update?
Your inventory is stored on your device and is not deleted or reset by app updates. This is a direct response to a known problem in this category: other reseller-inventory apps have had update-triggered data-loss bugs. Pricebird's inventory data is never gated behind a subscription either, so even if you stop paying for AI scans, your saved items stay intact.
