Every figure below is a reading of a published policy on the date shown, not a quote. Category, seller status, store plan and country all change what you actually pay. Confirm on the linked source before pricing.

Fee structure replaced: the separate seller payment-processing charge was folded away, leaving the flat selling fee, and a buyer-side Buyer Protection fee was applied to listings created or updated on or after 6 January 2025.

The 10% selling commission was removed for US-based sellers, leaving payment processing as the standing marketplace deduction.
This log starts at the August 2026 baseline. Earlier entries appear only where the marketplace’s own documentation states both the change and its timing — we do not reconstruct undated history from secondary sources.
Why a dated log
A fee table without a date is a guess.
Most fee comparisons circulating online carry no verification date, so a reader cannot tell whether a number is current or three structures old. When a marketplace changes its fees, those pages stay wrong for months — and sellers price against them.
The practical use is narrow and worth doing well: check the date, open the source, then run your actual item through the matching calculator.
Which marketplace takes the least?
It depends on price point, not on the headline rate. Depop’s US structure has no commission but charges processing on the whole transaction including shipping, so a cheap item with real shipping can cost more proportionally than it looks. Poshmark’s flat fee is punishing between roughly $10 and $15 and then becomes a clean 20%. Run the same item through each calculator instead of ranking by headline percentage.
How often do marketplace fees change?
Structural changes are infrequent — typically once every year or two per marketplace — but they are rarely announced in a way sellers notice before the first affected payout. Category-level rates on eBay change more often than the headline structure.
How is this page kept current?
Each row carries the date it was last checked against the marketplace’s own published fee page, and every change is added to the log with its date. If a row’s checked date is old, treat it as unverified and confirm on the linked source before pricing.
