Depop dropped the commission. See what’s left.
For US sellers the marketplace deduction is payment processing, plus an optional boost fee if you use Boosted Listings.
This is an editable estimate, not a Depop quote. Figures reflect Depop’s published US structure as checked in August 2026 and can change. Confirm in Depop’s help centre before listing, or see the dated fee-change log.
How the fee works
Zero commission is not zero cost.
Processing applies to the whole transaction — item, shipping, and applicable tax — so the effective rate on a low-priced item with real shipping can be meaningfully higher than the headline percentage. The fixed per-order amount also weighs more on cheap items.
Boosted Listings only charge when a boost leads to the sale, but the boost percentage stacks on top of processing. Model it here before enabling boosts on thin-margin items.

How much does Depop take from a sale?
As of August 2026, US sellers pay no Depop selling commission — the 10% fee was removed in 2024. The deduction that remains is payment processing, listed at 3.3% + $0.45 on the total transaction (item plus shipping and applicable tax). Confirm current numbers in Depop’s help centre before listing.
Are there any optional Depop fees?
Boosted Listings add an extra percentage on sales attributed to a boost, and Depop shows US buyers a separate buyer-side marketplace fee at checkout. Boost rates and buyer fees change — check the current help centre figures before enabling boosts.
Is the processing fee charged on shipping?
Depop lists payment processing as applying to the total transaction amount, which includes the item price plus shipping and any applicable taxes, so this calculator includes buyer-paid shipping in the fee base.
